Police appeal: Phone snatchers in Hounslow

Investigators have today released CCTV images of three men they want to talk to as part of their enquiries.

PC Krishan Appannah, investigating the incidents, said: “On Saturday, 26 May around 10.30pm, the first victim was on a train using her iPhone. When the train arrived into Hounslow, a man got on briefly and snatched the victim’s phone, before running out of the station.

“We are also investigating a similar incident which took place on Saturday, 2 June. Around 2.15pm on platform two, a second victim was waiting for a train using his mobile phone. When his train arrived he boarded and a man came from behind him and snatched the phone before running off the train and out of the station.

“There has recently been two other phone snatches at the station; one on Monday, 4 June and another on Saturday, 16 June.”
