The memory of Merseybeat legend Gerry Marsden lives on as a ferry port in Liverpool is officially named after the singer.

The iconic Royal Iris ferry was known as the ‘fish and chip’ boat as it had its own chip shop on board.

Fans and friends have come together to remember the remarkable life of Gerry Marsden who sadly died in January 2021.
