Granada Bowel Cancer

A woman from Manchester has become cancer-free after undergoing the UK’s first liver transplant for advanced bowel cancer.

Lyndsey Ainscough, 40, from Leigh in Greater Manchester, was diagnosed with serious stage 3 cancer after suffering symptoms for several months.

Tom Critchley, who made a career spotting sports stars and was a corporal in the Royal Engineers, was diagnosed with early stage rectal cancer in April 2022.
