Shelly Woods from Blackpool wins Marathon Silver
The 26-year-old finished 4th in Beijing four years ago and has missed out on a medal in 3 events so far at London 2012. Today though she finished 2nd in the T54 Marathon race to win a Silver medal.
North West Swimmers qualify for Men's Relay Final
ParalympicsGB's Men's 4x100m swim team made up of Manchester's Jonathan Fox, Preston's Jack Bridge and Tom Young from Lancaster have won their heat to qualify for tonight's final.
Competitors from the North West have so far won 25 Paralympic Medals, including 8 Golds and 11 Silvers.
Macclesfield post box to be painted gold for Sarah
An iconic red post box in Macclesfield will be painted gold to celebrate cyclist Sarah Storey's fourth gold medal win in the Road Women’s C5 Road Race.
Sarah already has gold post boxes in Disley, Poynton and Eccles. She has requested that one be painted in Macclesfield. Four commemorative stamps have also been produced.
Storey wins record-equalling 11th gold medal
Britain's Sarah Storey clinched the 11th Paralympic title of her career today after winning the women's C4-5 road race at Brands Hatch.
Storey joins Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson as Britain's most successful female Paralympian.
It was Storey's 4th gold medal of these Games.

Sarah Storey's gold post box in Eccles
The Royal Mail are celebratating Sarah Storey’s third Paralympics gold medal win in the Cycling: Road Women’s C5 Time Trial by painting a post box gold in Eccles, as requested by Sarah.
Individual first class stamps, featuring Sarah’s image are also being produced.

Third Paralympic Gold for Sarah Storey
Sarah Storey from Disley in Cheshire has won her third Paralympic Gold medal of London 2012 in the C5 Time Trial. It means a first-place finish in tomorrow's Road Race will see Sarah become the most successful GB Paralympian ever.
