Mountain Road remains closed on Isle of Man as ice warning extended until Friday afternoon

A yellow weather warning of frost and ice has been extended until midday tomorrow (Friday 10) in the Isle of Man, due to further snowfall overnight.
The A18 Mountain Road has been closed for five days, with no current timeline on when it may reopen.
The main route between Douglas and Ramsey was closed on Saturday 4 January, due to forecasted wintery conditions.
Police are urging people to allow for plenty of time for journeys, asking people to 'take care on the roads'.
They say that while the Mountain Road is closed, most main routes around the island are 'passable'.
Meanwhile, Manchester Airport has has closed its runways for fourth time this week due to heavy snowfall.
The 07:10am flight from Ronaldsway Airport has therefore been cancelled as a result.
Commuters in the UK are being warned of icy roads and travel disruption after temperatures dropped overnight.
A yellow warning of snow remains in place in the Isle of Man until midday today.
