Every day in December we're opening a door of our Granada Reports Advent Calendar of local heroes.

Each day, we'll be meeting someone who has gone above and beyond in what has been a very difficult year.

Behind Door 12 is Aaron Lee - a former police officer turned fire fighter, who helped respond to the Manchester Arena terror attack in 2017.

Since then, Aaron has raised over £44,000 for charities and victim's families, and is now organising a Soccer Aid style football match with former professionals and celebrities to raise even more.
