Mother from Liverpool appeals for people to continue to observe the lockdown to help keep her son safe

A mum from Liverpool is appealing for people to continue to observe the lockdown to keep her son and many others safe.

Eight-year-old James Toohey has a degenerative condition called Batten disease.

He could lose the ability to walk, talk, eat and even breathe if he caught coronavirus or even just a cold.
