Wanted for a serious assault against a child

Merseyside Police is appealing for the public’s help to trace a 31-year-old man from Walton after a warrant was issued for his arrest at Liverpool Crown Court.

Zsolt Lakatos, from Ashdale Road, Walton was due to appear at Liverpool Crown court on Monday, February 6, this year for sentencing in relation to an offence of Section 18 wounding with intent against a child.

However, he failed to appear and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was sentenced to 13 years in prison in his absence.

Lakatos, is described as a white man, 5ft 10in tall, of heavy build with black hair and brown eyes.

Extensive efforts have been made to find him but he remains outstanding.
