A debate on Jersey's population policy has been delayed until next year after a consultation received over 1,700 responses.

The government says it needs more time to sort through and consider the high volumes of comments and responses.

It will mean the debate will not be able to go ahead on 23 November as planned, and will instead be debated on 22 January 2022.
