Carers given free bus travel in Jersey
People who care for those with long-term disabilities will be able to use Jersey's public buses for free from today (1 October).
The existing AvanchiAccess scheme provides unlimited free travel for islanders who have a disability preventing them from driving.
The Government says it is "delighted" to be able to extend the scheme, which first began in 2017.
Details of eligibility and how to apply can be found here.
