Applications for an apprenticeship scheme giving people in Jersey access to mentoring and training have opened.

The Trackers programme, run by Skills Jersey, has teamed up with Highlands College to encourage people to apply online.

Although initially delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, Trackers will now give people over the age of 16 the chance to be trained in one of 28 industries.

There are currently more than 500 apprentices in the island working for construction, cyber security and beauty therapy companies to name a few.
