'Get on with it': Jersey Chamber calls for government to open borders soon to avoid 'more financial pain'

"Quicker action" is needed to help Jersey's economy recover and avoid "more financial pain", according the the island's Chamber of Commerce.

Speaking on behalf of its members across many sectors, Chamber says the government needs to move at a greater speed, to help counter the huge blow that many businesses have already suffered.

Another one of Chamber's calls is for the States to set a date for when the borders can reopen.

The last few months have also been described as "three consecutive 'winters' of trade", due to the loss of the £280m visitor economy that the summer season brings.
