End to social distancing as Guernsey moves into phase five of lockdown exit
Guernsey is to move into phase five of its lockdown exit plan from next Saturday (20 June).
It means the island is expected to return to a 'new normal' level of activity, with only a limited amount of restrictions still in place.
For example, travel restrictions outside of the Bailiwick will remain, and those returning to the island will still have to self-isolate for 14 days.
However, the following will all come under phase five:
No social distancing
No restrictions on mass gatherings
Contact sports to re-start
Children's playgrounds to re-open
Nightclubs and bars to re-open

The announcement comes on the island's 42nd day without an active case of coronavirus.
During today's press conference, the Health President also announced that a Black Lives Matter protest organised for this Saturday (13 June) will be postponed by a week, to ensure those who wish to attend can do so without breaching current restrictions.
Deputy Heidi Soulsby also praised the community once again, saying the island has been able to "punch above its weight" in terms of its response to the pandemic.
The Director of Public Health, Dr Nicola Brink, added that work will continue behind the scenes to ensure the island is prepared to deal with a potential second wave.
