Jersey Zoo reopens to all visitors
Jersey Zoo will reopen to all visitors from today.
The zoo reopened to members only at the start of the month - now all islanders can book tickets for time slots to visit the park.
Indoor animal houses will remain closed, and visitors must follow strict social distancing and hygiene measures.
These include:
All visitors must pre-book tickets online so numbers can be managed
All visitors and staff aged 8+ must wear face masks at all times
Limited visitor numbers per day
Entry is in half-hour slots throughout the day
Protective screening is in place at contact points
Card payments only, no cash is accepted
Floor markings demarcate 2m distances to manage queues
Hand sanitiser points are around the zoo
Keeper Talks are cancelled
Both cafés offer takeaway options only with outside seating available
Indoor animal areas remain closed
Both the indoor and outdoor children’s play areas remain closed
Certain time slots have been reserved for members only.
Everyone visiting the zoo needs to wear a face mask, which can be purchased on arrival.
