All Jersey businesses can apply for government loan ranging from £5k to £500K

All local businesses in Jersey can now apply for the Business Disruption Loan Guarantee Scheme which ranges from £5,000 to £500,000.

Any firm on the island, regardless of their activity or sector, that needs support due to the coronavirus crisis, can submit an application for a loan to support them through the pandemic.

Under the scheme, the government is guaranteeing 80% of the lending, which is enabling banks to offer credit to more businesses.

Several banks are able to lend the money under the scheme and they include Barclays, HSBC, NatWest International, Santander International, and Lloyds International.

Those looking to access the scheme should contact Jersey Business or their bank.
