Richard McMahon becomes Guernsey's 90th Bailiff
Guernsey's 90th Bailiff has been sworn in at the Royal Court House
Richard McMahon has replaced Sir Richard Collas, who has stepped down after eight years of service.
Mr McMahon studied law in London and France, before becoming an English Barrister in 1986. He then became a Guernsey Barrister in 1998, and the Deputy Bailiff of the island in 2012.
Members of the public have not been able to watch the procession from inside the Royal Court House because of Covid-19 restrictions.
Other events which have also been cancelled to ensure lockdown and social distancing restrictions can be adhered to.
