Hemp farmers to produce sanitiser in Jersey

Jersey Hemp has started making hand sanitiser, to meet increasing demand amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The company usually makes the health food supplement CBD oil from its Warwick Farm premises, but bosses realised that some of their production processes would lend themselves to creating a cleansing solution.

The sanitiser will initially be sold in large, five litre containers, while the company sources smaller dispensers.

Care providers are encouraged to get in touch with Jersey Hemp if they need urgent stock.
