Governments across the islands are taking steps to tackle coronavirus, slow down its spread and save as many lives as they can.

Around 70 new businesses have opened in Guernsey during lockdown.

Islanders in Jersey who fall into the 'high risk' category are being advised to only leave the house for outdoor activities.

This air bridge is expected to be the first established by any governments in the British Isles.

The government says islanders may now begin to have "limited, physical contact with a small number of people from outside their household".
