Coronavirus: Guernsey's first cruise ship of 2020 cancelled
Guernsey's first cruise visit of 2020, due to arrive next week, has been cancelled.
The cruise which was scheduled to arrive on Friday 20 March has been cancelled as a "precautionary measure" as the Coronavirus situation develops.
Guernsey States says the decision has been made following advice from the island's Public Health Services after discussions with the Strategic Co-ordinating Group, Guernsey Harbours and other stakeholders.
The visiting ship, the Fridtjof Nansen, is the only scheduled cruise visit before the 9 April 2020.
Officials say no other visits are being cancelled at this stage.
