Jersey’s new police chief sworn-in
Robin Smith has been sworn-in as Jersey’s Chief Police Officer.
It was announced in November 2019 the former Assistant Chief Constable for British Transport Police would move to Jersey.
He has been in the police for 30 years and during that time was a Senior Commander overseeing the response to the Manchester Arena and London Bridge terrorist attacks.
Now as the most senior officer in Jersey’s police Mr Smith is responsible for overseeing the force and liaising with Jersey’s Government.
