A new Chief of Police for Jersey has been appointed.
Robin Smith is the former Deputy Chief Constable of the Sussex and Surrey Police and is currently the Assistant Chief Constable for British Transport Police.
He has been in the police for 30 years and during that time was a Senior Commander overseeing the response to the Manchester Arena and London Bridge terrorist attacks.
The new Chief of Police will start his post in early 2020.
