Channel Islands biggest solar farm agreed
A new solar farm in Jersey will become the biggest in the Channel Islands.
Woodside Farm has made an agreement with Jersey Electricity to install solar panels on the roof of their new barn at Trinity Farm.
The solar panels will provide enough electricity to power 34 homes.
Currently Guernsey Post has the largest group of solar panels on their headquarters roof.
The 702 solar panels will be owned and operated by Jersey Electricity. It will be three times bigger than the panels they operate on La Collette Power Station.
