Electric car sharing clubs to get dedicated parking spaces in Jersey
Electric car sharing clubs in Jersey will soon have dedicated parking spaces on the island.
The government's Infrastructure Minister, Deputy Kevin Lewis has used his power to introduce new parking permits specifically for the vehicles, which will allow them to park in allocated spaces on public and parish roads.
The policy was set out in the Government's Sustainable Transport Policy, which was published at the end of 2019.
Electric cars can already park for free in all Government-owned car parks.
