This summer, Jersey is going to be home to 40 life-size silverback gorillas.

They have been popping up at the island's landmarks - from Corbiere to Gorey.

It is all part of the Go Wild Gorillas trail, which has been launched to celebrate Jersey Zoo's 60th birthday, and will also mark the Channel Islands' largest public art trail.

They have all been designed by local and international artists.

Those taking part can download the app to follow the route, with all proceeds going towards Durrell.

Alongside the big trail, there will also be some smaller gorillas placed at various indoor locations, designed by local schools and community groups.
