Stroke survivors and their families in Jersey will take part in a one mile charity walk today.

It is hoped the walk will give people an insight into the challenges stroke survivors live with.

The walk along the Esplanade is part of the nationwide event, Step Out for Stroke Survivors.

Registration is from 10am on the seafront, opposite the Grand. The walk starts at 11am.

It is the Stroke Association’s second fundraising event in Jersey this year following the Resolution Run in April.
