People in Jersey are being asked for their views on the new skate park.

Earlier this month it was revealed Les Quennevais had been chosen as the preferred site.

It will cost £800,000 to construct, while a business case has been put forward to provide £1.3 million over two years to build more skate friendly facilities in the island.

A survey wants to hear from islanders, skaters, clubs and people living in the area to find out if they think the site is the best place for the park, and if any smaller sites for skaters could be made.

There will be a drop in session at Les Quennevais Sports Centre on 26 June from 6pm to 8pm where islanders can see the proposals and discuss them with Senator Pallett and officers.

Islanders can view the plans at the sports centre until 3 July.
