Islanders opinions sought on 110 home development on Jersey Gas site

Islanders are being asked for their views on plans for construction on the Jersey Gas site in Tunnel Street, St Helier.

A new 110 home development was put forward by the States housing provider, Andium Homes at the end of last year.

It includes extending Jersey's Millennium Town Park up to St Saviour's Road as well as providing more than 200 underground parking spaces for residents and members of the public.

The site previously had planning approval for 250 homes but residents appealed against the plans and the project was called off in 2016.

An online consultation has started which will allow people in Jersey to voice their opinions on the new plans which include:

  • An extension to the Millennium Town Park

  • Approximately 110 new homes, including some affordable housing

  • Underground parking

The consultation will close on 2 April 2019.
