Second public meeting to discuss assisted dying
A second public meeting to discuss assisted dying in Guernsey will be held tonight at Les Beaucamps School at 7pm.
It comes after more than 150 islanders attended a public debate last week.
The forum will also include a contribution from Dr Catherine Forest, a doctor from California with experience of the laws in practice in the USA.
The meeting follows the news this week that Guernsey's Policy & Resources Committee will not be supporting assisted dying.
Deputies who signed the requête believe this will be a chance for islanders to have their questions answered.
The issue will be debated in the States on May 16th.
