Cassidy names 16-man Jersey Muratti squad

Jersey manager Martin Cassidy has named his squad for next weekend’s Muratti Vase final against Guernsey at Springfield.

St Paul’s midfielder Jack Boyle will captain the side as they try to win back the Vase after a 2-1 defeat at Footes Lane in 2017.

Jersey have been in good form ahead of this year’s clash, winning their three recent friendlies against the Navy FA, Upton Park FC, and the Essex & Suffolk Border League.

The 16 players are drawn from three Premiership clubs; three from JTC Jersey Wanderers, four from St Peter, and nine from St Paul’s, who clinched a fifth straight title at the weekend.
