Two pros included as Jersey name Siam Cup squad

Hooker Nick Selway will captain the Jersey Reds in Saturday's Siam Cup in Guernsey as they go for a tenth win in a row in the fixture.

He is joined by just one other professional, back row Uili Kolo'ofa'i - who is playing his last game for Jersey, in a young-looking squad named by coach Myles Landick.

Scott McClurg, starting at full-back, also has first-team experience this season having appeared for the Reds in the British & Irish Cup.

Most of the squad - which includes 15 Jersey-born players - is drawn from Reds Athletic, the club's amateur team, who finished fifth in the Zoo Sports Shield.

Seventeen-year-old Max Harrington is one of four teenagers among the replacements.

Jersey beat Guernsey 20-18 last year to extend their winning streak, but it was the closest Siam Cup since the Sarnians' last win in 2008.
