A Jersey woman has become the oldest person in the world to complete a two-way swim across the English Channel.

Sally Minty-Gravett achieved her record in 2016 at the age of 59, but has only just been recognised in the Guinness Book of Records.

She's also the only person to ever have swam the channel five times in five decades.

Last year Sally was given the Churchill Award for Courage for her double-channel swim which took her 36 hours, 26 minutes.
