Education President 'categorically denies' wrongdoing over disability comments
Guernsey's President of Education is "categorically denying any wrongdoing", after a formal complaint has been made against him.
It relates to alleged comments made by a senior politician about Deputy Marc Leadbeater's ability to commit to his political work, because he has a family member with disabilities.
Deputy Paul Le Pelley has told ITV News he did nothing wrong in the process of replacing Deputy Leadbeater, after he resigned from the Education Committee.
But, the Guernsey Disability Alliance are concerned his failure to be re-elected could have been caused by the "non co-operation" of three politicians: Deputy Paul Le Pelley and Lyndon Trott and Deputy Mary Lowe.
The charity has now lodged a complaint against the three States Members with the Code of Conduct panel, along with The Guernsey Community Foundation.
Deputy Mary Lowe has so far failed to respond to ITV News' request for comment.
