Fate of Leale's Yard and Admiral Park developments to be decided today
Plans for two major developments in Guernsey could be given the final go-ahead this morning.
They include proposals to build 400 homes and a public plaza on Leale's Yard.
It is estimated the island's ecomony could benefit to the tune of £300 million if the scheme goes ahead.
Meanwhile, Guernsey planners have also given their approval for development at Admiral Park.
Comprop wants to spend £70 million redeveloping the site, which is currently used for parking.
The developers have since submitted revised proposals, which include an extra 230 parking spaces.
A multi-screen cinema, hotel, new offices and a creche could all be built there, providing plans are given the final nod at today’s open planning meeting.
