Adrian Lynch inquest opens

20-year-old Adrian Lynch went missing at the beginning of December 2015

The inquest in the death of Adrian Lynch opened today, after his body was found in Handois Reservoir nearly two weeks ago.

The short hearing means his body can now be released for funeral arrangements.

His body was formally identified by DNA analysis and dental records last week.

The 20-year-olds family weren't at the inquest today, which is being overseen by Deputy Viscount Advocate Mark Harris.

A Post Mortem report will be heard later this year.

A memorial service is being held on Friday for friends and family to celebrate Adrian's life.

It will happen at 2:30pm at St Helier Methodist Centre.

Anyone who wishes to donate money are being asked to send it to Jersey Search and Rescue or Channel Island Air Search.
