Commitment problems sorted says Jersey manager ahead of 100th Muratti

With only one day left until the 100th Muratti, Jersey's manager Brian Little says commitment problems from players have been addressed.

Talking to ITV Channel Sport a few weeks ago, Little said that players needed to prove their commitmentand that some of them where missing games for 'minor reasons'.

But he now believes his comments have had the desired effect:

The former Aston Villa boss seems to have picked a defensively minded squad for Saturday with a few big names noticeably absent from the line up.

These include Kieran Lester, the reigning Jersey Football combination Player of the Year, and Jersey Scottish striker Daryl Wilson.

Little insists that his choices were made only to fit the style of play he wants on Saturday:

For Guernsey this year it's all about revenge, after their shock home defeat at home last year they will be looking for redemption.

In the wake of their defeat questions were raised about the formation used by the team, with just three men at the back. Manager Steve Sharman has defended his choice and insists that his team are more than capable of winning whatever the formation:

For a full look ahead at this weekend's clash here is a preview by our sports reporter Chris Cunningham:
