A spokesperson for McDonalds says "the safety of our people and customers is our absolute priority and we will reopen as soon as we feel we can".

Sandwell's latest coronavirus figures:

In the week leading up to July 26 the number of cases per 100,000 went up from 23.2 to 32.4.

The most recent available figures show that there were 106 new cases over that period.
