Des Coleman returns to ITV Central after going into self-isolation

Des Coleman is back presenting the weather forecast at ITV News Central, after being forced to self-isolate for the last few months due to the Coronavirus.

He wants to thank everyone for their good wishes and cards.

He and Bob Warman are now both back on the programme, although they're taking plenty of precautions to keep safe.

In November 2018 Des fell seriously ill with a gastric tumour and was rushed to hospital where he had an emergency operation.

Now, although fully recovered, the NHS advised him to self-isolate for three months.
