'Brave' six-year-old saves pregnant mum's life after she collapses
A six-year-old saved his mum's life after she collapsed while 26 weeks pregnant.
Nicky Lewis, 31, fell unconscious and "wasn't breathing properly."
Max, who's now aged 6, used his iPad to call his Aunt Sonia for help, because his mum "won't wake up, is breathing funny and it's scary."
Sonia then called 999 and arrived at the house at a similar time to the paramedics.
All on his own Max used a stool to reach the front door keys and put them through the letterbox, so they could get inside.
Nicky was then taken to hospital and diagnosed with sepsis, and doctors said that she - and her unborn daughter - would have died if it wasn't for Max.
Max's dad Sam works nights and wouldn't have arrived home until the following morning and says that "there's no question that Max saved his mum and sister's life."
Nicky made a full recovery and gave birth to Max's sister, Willow, a few months later.
