Fast food chains reopen limited number of UK branches
KFC and Burger King have confirmed they will reopen a limited number of UK branches, including chains across the Midlands.
KFC says they have made the "careful decision" to reopen eleven of its UK restaurants with a limited menu for delivery only.
The company said safety measures were in place including social distancing and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
KFC added they were showing support for all the NHS workers on the frontline. It said: "There's still a need for affordable, accessible food at this time - so we want to do our part."
Meanwhile, Burger King has also reportedly resumed delivery services. The fast food chain temporarily stopped operating following Government guidelines and advice from Public Health England.
