Senior West Midlands Police officer 'awake and taken off ventilator'
A senior West Midlands Police officer has been taken off a ventilator and is awake - three weeks after first developing Covid-19 symptoms.
Chief Superintendent Phil Dolby tweeted updates about his condition in the first week after falling ill from his hospital isolation ward but was then admitted to intensive care. His last tweet was on 29 March.
