Inside Coronavirus ward: West Midlands Police officer with symptoms posts video from hospital chamber

A West Midlands Police officer who is thought to have Coronavirus has posted a video showing the inside of his hospital chamber.

Phil Dolby, the Chief Superintendent in Criminal Justice Services at WMP, has been posting updates on his Twitter feed throughout the week.

His condition has steadily deteriorated.

Yesterday, he posted an update saying he had been taken to hospital by West Midlands Ambulance Service after suffering “frightening episodes of breathlessness and dizziness.”

He said he’s “never been ill like this before.”
