Birmingham Pride postponed because of Coronavirus outbreak

Birmingham Pride has added its name to the ever-growing list of events that have had to postpone because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The event was originally meant to take place on the weekend of May 23rd and 24th.

Organisers have said the event has not be cancelled, and will instead take place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September.

Cheryl Cole and Kelly Rowland were just some of the artists who were confirmed for May’s event.

People looking to forward to the annual celebration have been understanding of the decision to postpone.

On its Facebook page, Birmingham Pride said those who’ve already purchased tickets will automatically have them transferred to the new date.
