Boy charged following schoolboy stabbing in Sparkbrook
A 15-year-old boy has been charged following the stabbing of a schoolboy, who is also aged 15, in the Sparkbrook area on Monday (20th January).
The boy has been charged with wounding and is appearing before Birmingham Magistrates Court today (22nd January).
The stabbing took place around 3pm today (20th January), on Grantham Road, where the young victim of knife-crime was rushed into hospital with serious injuries.
Emergency services rushed to the scene including one ambulance, a paramedic officer, a critical care car and a midlands air ambulance.
The teenager was treated in the land ambulance by the air ambulance doctor, who travelled to the hospital with the patient.
