RSPCA appeal after dog found abandoned at road side
The RSPCA is appealing for information after a French Bulldog was found abandoned by the side of a road.
The female dog, who has now been named Oola, was found in Coalville on November 30 this year. She was reportedly shaking with fear when a member of the public found her and called the RSPCA.
She was taken to the vets and was found to be underweight. She also appeared to have been overbred, and she wasn't microchipped.
The eight-year-old is now in the care of RSPCA Leicestershire (Woodside Animal Centre) and she will stay there until she has reached a healthy weight. She will then be put up for adoption.
