10-week-old Husky puppy snatched from home

Police are hunting for a group of men after a husky puppy was snatched from its home during a late night burglary in Leicester.

The 10-week-old black, white and grey Husky named Nala was stolen from a property at around 1.20am on Tuesday (12 November) .

It is reported that a group of around five men broke into the home on Mortoft Road, as well as stealing the dog - they took a PlayStation 4, Playstation Controllers and an iPhone.

The men, who are said to have been in possession of knives, attacked a man who was in the home at the time.

The victim is said to have suffered cuts to his arm and leg as well as facial injuries.

Other people were also in the property at the time but they were not injured.
