Stolen puppy reunited with family after being stolen while they slept
A puppy stolen in a robbery in Stirchley has been reunited with his family.
The 11 week old Boston Terrier, named Rocco, was stolen last Saturday (September 7), while his family slept.
Owner Rebecca Carrington, partner Lee Howard and their children were left devastated and offered a reward for Rocco's safe return.
The thief struck between 4am and 5 - stealing Rebecca's Nissan Juke with the keys they took from inside the house, along with Rocco.
Rebecca, aged 40, received a call saying that someone had Rocco, and was told that they bought him in Manor Farm Park in Northfield after being approached by a man.
Rebecca added: "We are just delighted to get Rocco back."
"I have spoken to other people who have had their dogs stolen and they haven't been so lucky. Fortunately on this occasion there has been a happy ending."
