Katie Price to manage football team in memory of Joel Richards

A charity football match will take place in memory of Black Country teenager Joel Richards who was shot dead in the Tunisia terror attack in 2015.

TV personality Katie Price will manage one of two teams playing at the home of Joel's favourite football team Walsall FC.

The 19-year-old died alongside his uncle and grandfather, when an extremist opened fire in the coastal resort of Port El Kantaoui near Sousse.

The match will raise money for the Smile for Joel charity set up in his name, which has already raised more than £60,000 for Victim Support.

Singer and Coronation Street actor Shayne Ward will manage the opposition at the B

Other celebrities include Calum Best, Jamie O'Hara, Wayne Bridge, Simon Webbe and Lee Ryan.

Joel's mum Suzanne Evans and brother Owen Richards will also be in the crowd.

The friendly, which will also benefit Compton Hospice, will see the 'Smiling Saddlers' take on the 'Compton Wolves' with kick-off at 3pm.
