Half a million visit poppies at Lincoln Castle

More than 530,000 people visited the ceramic poppy display at Lincoln Castle during its three-month installation.

Wave, by artist Paul Cummins and designer Tom Piper, features 5,500 poppies and was created for the centenary of the First World War.

A total of 533,465 visitors saw it between May and September.
