'Iconic' poppies wave goes on display at Lincoln Castle
Part of the poppies sculpture which wowed millions at the Tower of London, have gone on display to the public at Lincoln Castle today.
"Wave" remembers soldiers who lost their lives in the Great War. It features 5,500 ceramic poppies.
The installation was designed by Chesterfield artist Paul Cummins and will be at the castle grounds until September.
Cummins said that Lincoln was chosen to house the work because of its history of tank and air manufacture.
