Memorial to mark four years since death of Daniel Pelka
People are expected to gather today at the grave of schoolboy Daniel Pelka today to mark the fourth anniversary of his death.
The youngster died after months of starvation and physical abuse at the hands of his mother and her partner.
Magdalena Luczak and Mariusz Krezolek were both sentenced to a minimum of 30 years in prison for murdering four-year-old Daniel, who died on March 3 in 2012, as a result of a head injury at his home in Coventry.
His mother was found dead in her prison cell at Foston Hall last July. An inquest found that the 29-year-old had hanged herself.
Her partner, Marius Krezolek, was discovered unresponsive in his cell at HMP Full Sutton in Yorkshire in January this year. He was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
